On Thursday, November 22, a special forum on cities and social progress will take place in Bogotá, Colombia. Entitled “Cities for People: Social Progress in Colombian Cities,” the event will focus on the Social Progress Imperative (SPI)’s 2018 findings as well as the IPSP report’s chapter on Cities and Social Progress. Three co-authors of IPSP Chapter 5 will speak at the event: Saskia Sassen (also on the IPSP Scientific Council), Ana Falu, and Doris Tarchópulos.
