Lorenz Lassnigg (Chapter 11) visits EDU, gives Lecture

From April to May, Lorenz Lassnigg visited the University of Tampere’s School of Education (EDU) in Finland. A member of EDU’s academic group on equality and justice in education, he spent his time conducting research, engaging in conversations, and also giving an open lecture. Based on discussions in the context of the International Panel on Social Progress, Lassnigg’s lecture focused on “Knowledge, values and attitudes in education and in social progress – are there alternatives for universalizing discourses and models of global(izing) education.”

Lassnig is one of currently eight Lead Authors of Chapter 19: How Can Education Promote Social Progress.
